This is the third in our series exploring the journey of learning mathematics from early childhood through high school. While the terminology may differ (K-12, 3-18, KS1-KS5), the most effective teaching approaches have universal application.

Inspiring High School Students Beyond the Curriculum

In this edition, we focus on teaching upper secondary/high school students. At this stage, students often start to prepare for externally assessed qualifications. It's critical that their (and our) focus doesn't narrow too much and we must continue guiding students through the rich story of mathematics. To that end, we share insights from influential educators Rachael Horsman, Marcus Du Sautoy and Eddie Woo.
